I did this a while back, but I figured I'd go ahead and submit it before I start on the next commission. This is my champion in LotRo. Soon, we're opening a website to take commissions from LotRo players to draw their characters, and this is just an example that I'll put up on that site. On the site, though, I'll have the screencap of the character for comparison. The outfit is one she actually wears in the game, so.. I didn't invent it or anything. >_> It's a great shirt.

I think this is really beautiful.
I want to play LotRo!
Is it free? :OOO
:iconparcel-sisters:
yeah, I like that shirt too. The little swirly yellow parts near the collar look hard to do, as far as making them symmetrical. At least, they would be for me. :shame:

Great job as always! The shading seems so simple, but so good at the same time... :)

They WERE hard!!! D8 Very hard, I was like "nuisdhas" eventually, I got it to where I wanted it, even though it still doesn't look that symmetrical.

Are you taking game funds for your commissions or real funds? Cause real funds are always awesomer XD. I really love your coloring style. I should stop mentioning it or you might get annoyed lol.

Never will I get annoyed! My fragile ego always needs a good strokingHAHAHA, but really, I'm just kidding. 8C

Anyhow, I hadn't even considered taking in-game funds. lol.. >_>;; Is it sad that I'm totally tempted by that? Haha, but no, I need the real funds too much to bother with in-game moneys.

I was thinking of doing commission in one mmo in exchange for the cash shop credits lol. I completely understand the temptation.

I like exploring, gathering items and such, making things, and designing my own character.
would I like this game?
:iconfirstfruits:
DEFINITELY. Character customization is one of the biggest reasons I play this game. Recently, they have added a feature that enables you to create two extra outfit slots for your character (once you hit level 20, which is very easy. Anyhow, you get the regular outfit slots that have all your fighting gear in them and then two slots for just decorative outfits. You can choose which of the outfits you have showing at any time, and even if you have the decorative outfit showing, you still get all the stats of your regular armor. So it's really wonderful for people who want their characters to look whatever way they want them to. You aren't bound to whatever armor you -have- to wear. (I actually have like, 6 outfits!! ^^;;..) Also, there are lots of different dye colors in the game and you can dye almost every piece of clothing you get. The game developers frequently release FREE content updates, with improvements and items. This month, they are releasing an update that has four more dyes, among other great improvements. Middle earth is a big place to explore, so it's very fun in that regard, too, and also, it's always expanding. This fall, there will be the first paid expansion and in that, the entire Mines of Moria (and one other place that I forget at the moment) will be added to the game, with new instances (dungeon-like things, if you're unfamiliar with the term) and also two whole new classes for people to play. (EXCITED ABOUT THAT ONE..)

As far as making things goes, in this game, all the best gear you can get is player-made. This game is focused much more on crafting, than other mmos. WoW is based on finding rare drops off monsters, and luck with whether or not the item you need will be found. They focus on raiding and getting large groups of people together to go through an instance and THEN, once you kill whatever it is you need to kill, the item you want MIGHT drop. And then, all the people in that 40-man group who want that item all get to roll for it, and you MIGHT win it.... That's all in WoW... In LotRo, there is raiding, but it take a much smaller group. 12 people. And also, the gear you get from it is COMPARABLE to player-made stuff. Basically you have a choice. Raid for what you want, or you can buy it from players, or make it yourself. You can be a tailor and make cloth items (Including decorative outfits, like dresses and stuff!) or an armourer, a jeweller, a scholar, a weaponsmith. The classes are Champion (warrior) Guardian (tank, or protector) Loremaster (they use magic and have pets, too) Minstrel (healing with music played with different instruments), hunter (arrowslol), and burglar (stabstabstealth)..

BLARGH, a lot of typing. lol But I really love this game, and I think other people would really enjoy it, so that's why I babble about it. If you have any other questions, let me know!! Also, if you decide to play the game, let me know. If you tell them I referred you, I'll get a free month. 8U hahahaha
