20,000 Kiriban caught!

_{YAY! A couple of people came close to catching it, but only one hepcat DID! ~Saljamka! Screenshot here. (And what's funny/cool about that screenshot is that her desktop background is my half of a trade we did from a short while ago! *teary eyed*) So congrats to her, she gets a free drawing from me~ Now it's up to her to choose which of her characters I get to draw. *coughkeyacough* Toootally up to her. 9u9 So thanks to everyone who tried to catch it! I'll probably have another one at 30,000 so stay tuned (you know, for when that happens a year or two from now. lol) Now, back to work on my comms, trades, so forth.

_{I do HATE using the word kiriban. Bah.

Anyway, it's coming up in the next.. er, week couple of days (woah, pv influx) or something I guess, looking at my pageview rating. Anyway, if you catch my 20,000th pageview and NOTE (don't comment, only a note will be valid) me a screenshot (don't even think of shopping it, because I can tell by some of the pixels, and from seeing a few shops in my time) then I will make a nice drawing for you! (I'm only taking ONE person who sends the screenshot. Sorry, can't do multiple gifts. So be fast!) Also, the prize won't be awarded until after I finish my commissions/trades, which I've got piled up. So it'll be awarded whenever I manage to get it done. So I'll do ONE character of yours or whatever single character you want. I know some people like the girly men or whatever, but I don't do girly men, so please remember that! If you ask me to draw any girly male character, dude will come out looking MANLY, because that's what I dig. So.. know that. And don't ask me to draw demons or hermaphrodite demons or half angel/half demon hermaphrodites, okay? Just don't.

I'm sorry for spamming your inboxes with my pointless journals, but I found four of the cartoons I grew up on as a kid on youtube, and figured some people might find them as great as I did when I was little. (Or maybe some of you guys grew up on them, too??) Anyway, just ignore this if you're disinterested. lol If you're interested, click on the images!

The song in this cartoon is so beautiful! Makes me all teary eyed. ;_;

This one has awesome character designs, and definitely the most underrated cartoon villain. Dude is sick.

This one is one of those Little Audrey cartoons, but it captured my imagination when I was a kid.

I love the background designs in this one! And the story is quite deep for kids. I really love when cartoons tackle mortality. lol

I just realized two of these cartoons are all about food. lol Maybe that's why I'm so obsessed with food and eating as an adult? lol Anyway, if you watched them, I hope you enjoyed them! 8)

_{Thanks to everybody who had some good music suggestions for my last journal. I found some awesome stuff! Either the artists you suggested, or suggested artist offshoots from those guys. So thanks again! (Of course, I always default right back to FotC, or Fiona Apple, or the Decemberists.)

Right now, I'm in the process of getting a new job and stuff, so I'm really busy. x_x I'm working on a commission, an art trade, and trying to finish that last mini trade. I totally said it would be done "in a few days" like, in early Oct. I'm pathetic. It's weird working on so many things at once. At least I have a choice of what to work on at any given moment, I guess? lol I'm so uninspired recently. :T

Quick thing: In my browsing around DA, I recently discovered a link to a really cool oekaki site, so if you oekaki, consider visiting there! Quite a bit of it is in Polish, but english users should be able to get around just fine. (I seem to.) I'm firstfruits over there, too, if you get the urge to see my lame oekakiings. There are some seriously amazing oekaki/DA artists over there, like falk, Janaschi, and KatiBu, so check them out and get yourself a gallery and crap and tell me about it.

Finally working on the last of the trades, and it'll be done in a day or something. Sometime very soon.

Also, I'm looking for more music to listen to. I know I do a journal about this every so often, but I'm ALWAYS IN NEED OF MUSIC SO if you have any suggestions to me, please lemme know. Most recently, my tastes have tended towards (as always) Dragonforce, but also (70s)Cher, Coheed, Depeche Mode, FotC, and Calvin Harris. I've been listening to this on... loop... for four days. >_> Am I a fool? Please gimme something else to listen to besides She Wolf.
